Everlasting Christmas Wreath Workshop

$120.00

Saturday 16 November 2pm - 4pm

Join us for my first wreath workshop to make a beautiful Christmas Wreath using a variety of fresh foliage and dried flowers.

Created especially for beginning bloom enthusiasts to learn the basics of hand-tied wreaths. No experience necessary.

Grab a bunch of friends and enjoy a relaxing cuppa in this hands-on Christmas Wreath workshop.

Workshops are 2 hours in length and are held in Castle Hill.

You will each take home a beautiful hand-tied wreath suitable for a gift or to display in your home. Your Christmas wreath will be perfect for welcoming guests and will be a talking point throughout the festive season.

We will be creating a wildly beautiful hand-tied wreath. You will choose a selection of stems to use and after watching the demonstration showing a few options, you are free to design and place the stems as you choose. I will be there to guide you every step of the way! You will be able to add ribbons too if you wish.

We will aim to have a wreath with reds, plums, pinks and greens although this will depend on availability.

These wreaths will last for years if cared for correctly. Foliage and flowers may differ slightly to those pictured due to availability and quality.

Each workshop includes:

  • Bottomless cups of tea and coffee, water or juice
  • Sundries (ribbons, twine)
  • One take-home, hand-tied Christmas wreath

During the workshop you will learn:

  • the essential steps and tips to care for your flowers and floral wreath to ensure it lasts
  • information and insights into the blooms being used
  • how to create a beautiful wreath

Come along and enjoy some flower fun with your friends in a creative and supportive environment.

Your workshop teacher

With over 27 years of teaching experience, Cynthia is passionate about bringing like-minded people together to learn new skills in a creative and encouraging atmosphere.

Cynthia has always enjoyed creating beautiful flower arrangements and bouquets from childhood, cutting flowers with her mum to create posies for teachers or designing table arrangements for family celebrations. Passionate about beautiful blooms and the joy they bring, Cynthia has been inspired by her father's love of gardening and now brings this passion and experience to her workshops.

Flowers are Cynthia's happy place. Her natural design aesthetic is whimsical and free-flowing with a sense of movement. She loves using the natural curve of stems to create dreamy bouquets and arrangements.

Cynthia will step you through conditioning your flowers and creating a beautiful hand-tied bouquet in a calm and supportive environment while allowing you to find your own style. You'll leave with your own gorgeous creation that you'll feel proud to gift or display in your home.
